"We compared three suppliers for the 6-meter plate lifting project. Wanka's electro-permanent magnetic lifter offered the best safety features and the most reasonable price. After one year of operation, there was no downtime. Highly recommended." —— John Carter, Equipment Purchasing Manager, a company in Texas, USA.
"The electro-magnetic magnetic feeder has completely solved the problem of edge damage during the transportation of our ship plates, and the power-off protection feature has reassured our safety management department. The engineers from Wanka even came to South Korea for on-site training, and the service was very professional." —— Production Director Kim Jong-hoon of a shipyard in Ulsan, South Korea.

The following is based on the actual data of medium-sized laser cutting processing centers in the US market (processing 50 pieces of 6m x 1.56m x 20mm carbon steel plates per day), with units in US dollars.
Traditional Method: Each 1560 Permanent Magnet Laser Loader requires 2 loading workers, with an hourly wage of $22. Each board is lifted and assisted for 8 minutes. With 8-hour workdays, 50 boards can be processed by 2 people at full capacity. Daily labor cost: 2 people × 8 hours × $22 = $352. Annual work: 88,000 dollars.
After using the electric permanent magnet loader: 1 person can operate 2 cutting machines simultaneously (the lifting speed of the electric permanent magnet is accelerated + remote control operation). Each cutting machine is equipped with 1 inspection worker. 4 cutting machines only require 2 people. With the same production volume, the labor demand is halved. Daily labor cost savings: $176. Annual savings: $44,000.
Electromagnet Solution: Each electromagnetic iron consumes 8kW of electricity during the transportation process. With 8 hours of operation per day, it consumes 64 kWh of electricity, at a cost of $0.15 per kWh, resulting in an annual electricity bill of $9.6.
Permanent Magnet Electric Solution: Each charging and de-magnetizing process consumes 0.005 kWh (1 second), and with 50 such processes per day, it consumes 0.25 kWh. At a cost of $0.0375 per kWh, the annual electricity bill is $9.4. This results in an annual savings of approximately $2,390.
The traditional lifting clamp causes edge damage, resulting in a scrap rate of approximately 2%. Each sheet of steel costs about $500, and with 50 sheets processed per day, there is a daily loss of $500, and an annual loss of $125,000.
The electro-persistent magnet feeding machine has almost no damage, with the scrap rate reduced to 0.2%. The annual loss has decreased to $12,500, and the annual savings have reached $112,500.
The annual cost for coil maintenance and replacement of electromagnets is approximately $1,500; the annual cost for replacing consumables such as suction cups and filters of vacuum suction cups is about $2,000. The electric permanent magnet feeding machine is maintenance-free, with the annual maintenance cost close to zero. Annual savings of $1,500 - $2,000.
Labor savings: $44,000 + Energy savings: $2,390 + Scrap savings: $112,500 + Maintenance savings: $1,500 = $160,390.
The FOB Qingdao port price for a 1560 type electric permanent magnet feeding machine (including controller, remote control, lifting frame, group control, and export packaging) is $12,500 - $18,500 (depending on the configuration). Taking the average value, it is $15,500. Annual savings amount to $160,390, and the payback period is approximately 1.2 months. Even if only considering labor and waste reduction, the payback period does not exceed 3 months.

A: No. The electro-magnetic permanent magnet technology is only applicable to magnetic materials, such as carbon steel, low alloy steel, silicon steel, etc. Austenitic stainless steel (304/316) cannot be magnetically attracted. For stainless steel plates, please choose our vacuum suction loading machine. For ferritic stainless steel (430), it can be attracted, but the suction force is approximately 70% of that of carbon steel, and customization is required.
A: The standard 1560 model is suitable for 6-meter-long plates. We can customize 7-meter, 8-meter, 9-meter, 10-meter, 12-meter, even 15-meter long lifting beams, with the number of magnetic poles increasing accordingly. A 12-meter-long plate requires 16-20 magnetic poles, and the price will increase by approximately 30%-40%. Please provide the specific length and weight of the plate, and we will provide a customized plan.
A: The magnetic force of the permanent magnet is permanent. Even if the power is cut off for one year after magnetization is completed, the suction force will still remain 100%. Only through the controller can the magnetic force be demagnetized. Therefore, there is no issue of "maintenance time". This is the core advantage of electro-magnetic permanent magnet technology compared to electromagnets.
A: No. Our magnetic pole design has undergone precise magnetic circuit simulation, and the magnetic force penetration depth is controlled within the thickness range of a single steel plate (adjustable). For steel plates with a thickness of 10-50mm, it can be guaranteed that only the top plate will be attracted. For extremely thin plates (<5mm), it is recommended to enable the "thin plate mode" to reduce the magnetic force output. If there are special requirements, we can customize an electric permanent magnet module with adjustable penetration depth.
A: The electro-pneumatic feeding machine is designed without maintenance requirements. It has no moving parts or consumables. Daily maintenance only includes: weekly blowing of the magnetic pole working surface with compressed air to remove iron filings; monthly inspection of the weld seams and connecting bolts of the suspension beam structure; and every six months, inspection of the internal wiring and cooling fan of the controller. Each maintenance session takes no more than 30 minutes. No parts need to be replaced (unless the protective plate of the magnetic pole working surface is worn out under extreme conditions, which occurs approximately every 3-5 years and requires replacement once).
